A team of Viennese women who participated in the toughest, most dangerous and best-known deep-sea sailing race of Europe, the "Fastnet-Race", asked Hundertwasser to design the sail for their Spinnaker. Hundertwasser donated the design for the sail. The sail was auctioned after the race in Vienna on September 5, 1995. The proceeds went to Greenpeace for projects for the protection of the oceans and their inhabitants.
