Melchert & Wiedl GbR, Hamburg

Design for the planning and artistic decoration of a tunnel approximately 330 m long, leading from Hallisches Tor, Trödlingring, below Reichsstrasse up to Deutrichs Hof as far as Schuhmachergässchen, between two planned building complexes with subterranean garages which would be accessed through this tunnel. Access to the art museum planned by the city was also to be via this tunnel.Hundertwasser planned to use his idea of a green, invisible, inaudible motorway and develop it further. Not realised.
