MOULDINESS MANIFESTO AGAINST RATIONALISM IN ARCHITECTURE
Architecture manifesto
Seckau, Styria, 1958

On July 4, 1958 at Seckau, Austria, during an international art and architecture venue organized by Monsignor Otto Mauer, who at the time incarnated the pivot of Viennese artistic culture, Hundertwasser read his manifesto to a small audience. He expressed his rejection of rationalism, of the straight line and of functional architecture. Followed by recitations at the Galerie Van de Loo, Munich, on July 11, and at the Galerie Parnass, Wuppertal, Germany, on July 26, 1958.
