The photo shows Hundertwasser with the works 150 Singing Steamer in Ultramarine III on the left and 134 Ninety-nine Heads on the right, which he described as "counterparts" in a later commentary on his work. They are painted in the same format, on the same support and in the same technique, but there are 7 years between the two works. The picture 204 Tramonto in the center was created in 1954. As in many other portrait-like photos, Hundertwasser fits into a special arrangement with his works as in a kind of family photo.
