Hundertwasser's comment on the work
A new version of 626 The Way to You. I frequently paint a subject again, several times, which can result in changes, improvements or the opposite, e.g., "Singing Steamers I, II, III", "The Eye Balance I, II, III, IV", "Automobile with Raindrops I, II", "Cathedral I, II" etc. One of most famous subjects to be painted in several versions is probably "The Isle of the Dead" by Böcklin. I am still trying to complete a set of all the Isles of the Dead in postcard form. "The Way from You Back to Me" disappeared inexplicably during shipment or was stolen.
